Kate (b. 2001) is a lesbian maker currently based in Chicago ( Land of Council of the Three Fires). She is a weaver of clay, fibers, and edible ingredients. These are all ingredients of map-making and storytelling to her. She constructs vessels to contain and consume. In her practice, she intentionally creates objects for everyday rituals and nourishing dishes for everybody.

In 2023, she received her Bachelor's in Fine Arts with an Emphasis in Fiber and
Material Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has exhibited in exhibitions throughout Chicago (IL) and Saugatuck (MI) and was a resident at the Penland School of Craft and the Ox-Bow School of Art and Artists’ Longform Residency.
